The CBBC Channel is running a poll to see which story will be called the Ultimate Sarah Jane Adventure! Entrants can choose from stories representing each of the five series:
  1. Revenge of the Slitheen
  2. The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith
  3. The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith
  4. The Death of the Doctor
  5. The Man Who Never Was
The vote closes on Friday 28th October at 9.00am. The winning story will be shown on CBBC at 5:45pm as part of the channel's "Mega Halloween Monday".

The poll is only open to those living in the United Kingdom.

The Curse of Clyde Langer - Final Ratings

The second story in the recent series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Curse of Clyde Langer, had an official audience of 0.76 million viewers, according to Barb.

The figures are an increase on last year's second story, The Vault of Secrets, which had 0.67 million watching, and an increase on the previous weeks episodes. The two Sarah Jane episodes topped the CBBC chart for the week, with Episode One of The Curse of Clyde Langer getting 0.793 million watching and Episode Two getting 0.733 million.

Third placed Tracy Beaker got 0.433 million watching and Sunday's repeat of The Sarah Jane adventures had 0.402 million watching.

The Series has yet to be shown on the main channel, BBC One and the figures do not include those watching on iPlayer.

Sarah Jane Adventures - BAFTA Nomination

The Sarah Jane Adventures has been nominated for two 2011 BAFTA Children's Awards.

The series is nominated as Best Drama, facing opposition from Combat Kids, House Of Anubis and Just William.

Lead Writer of the series, Phil Ford, is also nominated in the Best Writer category. He faces opposition from James Lamontand Jon Foster for The Amazing World of Gumball, Ben Ward, Steve Punt and Dave Cohen for Horrible Histories and Simon Nye for Just William.

The Sarah Jane Adventures have been nominated for best drama in 2008, 2009 and 2010 in the Children's awards, but have yet to clinch the prize.

In addition, this year’s Awards celebrates the BAFTA Kids’ Vote, in which children aged between 7 and 14 years have their say across a whole range of entertainment media in a nationwide poll to choose their favourite film, television programme, website and video game. The Sarah Jane Adventures is nominated in the TV category.

Voting for the BAFTA Kids’ Vote opens today (24 October 2011) and closes at 18.00 on Friday 25 November 2011. Children can cast their votes at baftakidsvote.org. Winners of each category will this year be presented their Award by JLS.

The Awards will be hosted for the second year running by ex Totally Doctor Who and current Blue Peter presenter, Barney Harwood, and will take place on Sunday 27 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Sky: Final Ratings

The first story in the current series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, Sky, had an official audience of 0.53 million viewers, according to Barb.

Although the figures are slightly down on last year's series opener, The Nightmare Man, which had 0.63 million watching, the two Sarah Jane episodes topped the CBBC chart for the week, with Episode One of Sky getting 0.534 million watching and Episode Two getting 0.532 million.

Third placed Tracy Beaker got 0.407 million watching.

The Series has yet to be shown on the main channel, BBC One and the figures do not include those watching on iPlayer.

The last ever episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures is due to be broadcast later on Tuesday in the UK.

CBBC has released an exclusive preview clip of the first episode of Series 5 of The Sarah Jane Adventures. They have also released a behind the scenes video of the Series 5 screening at the BFI in London last month.

The first episode, entitled Sky, will broadcast on the CBBC channel on Monday 3rd October at 5:15 pm, with part two on the next day at the same time.

The BBC have released details for the final ever episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

The Man Who Never Was will be the 27th and last story in the Doctor Who spin off, created by Russell T Davies and starring the late Elisabeth Sladen.

The two episodes are due to broadcast on CBBC on Monday 17th October and Tuesday 18th October respectively.

The BBC have released details for Week 41, which includes the synopses for the two episodes comprising the second story in the fifth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Curse of Clyde Langer; the episodes are due to broadcast on CBBC on Monday 10th October and Tuesday 11th October respectively - no time has been confirmed though it is expected that it will be at 5:15pm, the time of broadcast for the preceeding week's story, Sky.
