Doctor Who Can You Hear Me?, was watched by 3.81 million viewers in the UK yesterday according to unofficial overnight figures.
The rating, representing 18.8% of the total viewing audience made Doctor Who the seventh most popular show on British Television yesterday. Doctor Who was beaten by its ITV opposition, Dancing on Ice, which had 4.84 million viewers.
Top for the day was Call the Midwife, with 6.39 million viewers. This week the lead into Doctor Who was Countryfile which had 5.24 million watching. The Agatha Christie mystery, The Pale Horse, had 4.81 million viewers.
On the day that storm Ciara hit the UK BBC News had a boost with 5.48 million watching the 10pm bulletin.
On overnight figures, Doctor Who was the 49th most watched programme of the week.
