Collinson also executive produced the first series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Collinson announced his intention to leave the series at the conclusion of its fourth year, and is currently the head of drama for BBC Manchester. Previously, Collinson also worked on the series "Born and Bred" as producer, and has produced or directed episodes of "Linda Green," "Sea of Souls" and "Peak Practice".
